FTGDCA Update!

15 Jan by Dean Glare

Good Morning Presidents and Secretaries

Welcome to the second half of the season. I hope you have all had a great break and enjoyed getting back to playing cricket this weekend.

While going around some of the grounds it was noted that some players while umpiring were wearing inappropriate footwear.
As per Rule 3.1.16 (viii) below

Player umpires must wear closed shoe footwear; thongs are not appropriate. The rule is there for the safety and wellbeing of everyone on the cricket field.

Can you please make all team captains and officials are aware of this rule and action accordingly.

Regards

Tim Carter
Vice President FTGDCA - Umpires Liason
