Junior Results from last week:
Our Under 14 Blue team competed in a Semi Final last weekend in Division 1. While we lost this was an awesome effort from the team as all of the team will most likely play Under 14s again next season. FTG 10/98 lost to Endeavour Hills 7/318.
Our Under 16 team won their Semi Final against Endeavour Hills and will now play Eildon Park Lysterfield in the Grand Final on Pallets Australia Oval 1 (Wally Tew Oval 1) this Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (Reserve Day) evenings from 5-8:10pm. The FTGCC Canteen will be open on Wednesday and the upstairs bar and kitchen selling meals will be open on Thursday. Please get along and support our Under 16s in their Grand Final. FTG 4/115 defeated Endeavour Hills 10/114.
Senior Teams Final Ladder Positions:
Our 1st XI have finished the season in 4th position and will now play Upwey Tecoma at Upwey Recreation Reserve this Saturday, Sunday & Monday (Reserve Day) from 12:45-6:30pm on each day in an Elimination Final. Please get along and support our 1st XI in their Elimination Final.
Our 2nd XI have finished the season in 6th position, half a game out of the top 4.
Our 3rd XI have finished the season in 6th postion, equal on points with 3rd, 4th & 5th, however, unfortunately missing out on finals by percentage.
On Thursday night in the rooms we will announce our 1st XI Elimination Final team and conduct our annual Fielding Vote Count Night. Come along and have dinner and/or drinks as we count the fielding votes for each team and crown the Fielding Trophy winner in each Senior Team. All welcome!
On Sunday night after the cricket we have our annual $3000 Draw starting from around 7pm. Tickets are $50 each and include a limited number of free beers, wines or soft drinks and a chance to win up to $3000. If you would like a ticket or a few please contact Dean Glare on
