Message from FTGCC Coach Josh Henry:

Hi all!

Unfortunately a disappointing result on the weekend for the 1st xi. Which means our year is done.

I really appreciate everyone’s efforts and support.

What truly stands out is the incredible resilience of our entire club. After everything we’ve been through to push through the full season and still have multiple teams finish strongly, including securing the top 4 spot for the 1s, 2s and 3s just missing out on Finals by a game, is outstanding and is something we should all be proud of.

Thank you to every single person involved this year players across all grades, coaches, team managers, committee members, volunteers, scorers, ground staff, canteen crew, supporters, families, and sponsors. The love, care, and support you show each other week in, week out is something really special. Let’s keep nurturing and protecting that spirit.

I’m genuinely excited about our future as a club. We’ve got great people right across the board, juniors coming through, strong senior groups, and a committed core of volunteers with huge potential. We just need to stick at it together, bring that GRIT every single day and stay connected and committed to getting better as one club.

If anyone has ideas, feedback, or suggestions for any team, any area of the club I’m always keen to hear it.
