The FTGCC Senior Registration Evening & Player Sponsor Launch is on Thursday October 6 at the club. Training will be held outdoors at the club followed by dinner and drinks upstairs in the WH Tew Pavilion. All players who are intending to play Senior cricket this season are expected to attend. All other members of the FTGCC Community are welcome to attend and we would love to see you in attendance as we kick off our season.

Subs for the coming season have been kept at the same price as last season and are amongst the lowest prices for any club in our local area while delivering facilities, afternoon teas and value way above most clubs in our local area.

The strong preference of the FTGCC Committee is that you pay your subs before the season starts.

This year we are trialling a new idea of players supplying a $250 Player Sponsor for all Senior & Veteran players. The money raised from this initiative will go towards improving the facilities at the FTGCC for all players (ie. New cricket pitch surfaces, Nets upgrade project, etc.). Player Sponsors can be family, friends, work colleagues, businesses, anyone who is prepared to sponsor you to the tune of $250 for season 2016/17. Each player will have their photo taken and this photo will be displayed together with the sponsor name in our clubrooms for season 2016/17. As an added bonus all players who provide a $250 Player Sponsor will have $100 taken off their individual subs for season 2016/17. This idea is based around the concept that we are all responsible for the long term future of our club and we all need to buy in and support our great club to make it even better. If you are reading this and would like to sponsor one or more players and don’t have any particular player(s) in mind then please let me know on 0424 068 163 and I will assign a player(s) for you to sponsor.

Therefore the subs for season 2016/17 are as follows:

On or before Senior Registration Day (6/10/16): $290 or $190 with $250 Player Sponsor
After 6/10/16 and before 1/11/16: $330 or $230 with $250 Player Sponsor.
After 31/10/16: $360 or $260 with $250 Player Sponsor.

If you are a Full Time Student/Apprentice/Unemployed the fees are halved and have been set as follows:

On or before Senior Registration Day (6/10/16): $145 or $45 with $250 Player Sponsor
After 6/10/16 and before 1/11/16: $165 or $65 with $250 Player Sponsor.
After 31/10/16: $180 or $80 with $250 Player Sponsor.

First year Senior players out of our Juniors pay no Senior fees in their first season, however they are very welcome to provide a $250 Player Sponsor.

Veterans subs for season 2016/17 are $120 or $20 with a $250 Player Sponsor.

Players who play the odd game here and there are $20 per day payable on the day, however they are very welcome to provide a $250 Player Sponsor.

Payments can be made by cash, cheque, EFTPOS or by direct electronic transfer to the FTGCC account. Payments can be made by direct credit into BSB 633 108 Account No. 1129 50928 for the Ferntree Gully Cricket Club. If paying by direct credit please include your name and the word subs in the description and also text Dean Glare (0424068163) with payment amount for cross checking purposes.

Please make your cash, cheque and EFTPOS payments to Frank McGowan or Dean Glare. Paying your subs early is good for you as you get them cheaper and good for the club as we have many bills that fall early in the season (balls, clothing, drinks, insurance, food, etc).
