Hello Everyone.

All Stars (3s, 4s & 5s) V All Abilities Match!

On Saturday November 4 our 3s, 4s & 5s don’t play because it is Melbourne Cup Weekend. Recently, we recruited a second All Abilities team to FTGCC, across from Croydon. They play in a higher Division than our current All Abilities team and are quite talented and competitive cricketers. Due to the team just being established they don’t have their first fixtured All Abilities game until mid November. To give the team a good hit out we would like a team of 3s, 4s & 5s players to play a match against them. The game will be played on Wally Tew 2 on Saturday November 4 starting at 12.30pm. It will be 30 overs each innings or 2 hrs max whatever comes first. Batsman retire at 40 runs but can come back in if required. Maximum 8 overs per bowler. The game will be treated like a competition game, cricket gear to be worn, new balls per innings etc. This is a great opportunity to get to know some of our new All Abilities players, help prepare them for their season, get in an extra game of cricket and to have some fun.
